Heleen Mineur

Department / Programme

Alumnus of Design 2020

Biography

In her practice, Heleen Mineur looks at our (Western) ideologies and speculations around nature and care - through tropes, voice, and imagery. Working with image, video, (performative) text and objects, Heleen takes things out of their everyday context, and cultivates rhythmic, fantastical and bitter-sweet realms. The complexities behind her work intertwine with a lifelong relationship with neurodiversity: attempting to unfold and extend ways of (visual) communication.
