Biography

Jana is a queer, international artist born in Manila, the Philippines, based in Amsterdam and San Francisco, earning a BFA at AKI ArtEZ in 2021. Jana's work looks to understand human connection with self, others, nature, and religion through the lens of cannibalistic consumption. Their practice consists of sculpture - crochet, clay, plaster, fabric, and metal.
