Biography

Yara Said studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Damascus, currently an MFA student at the Sandberg Institute, Amsterdam. Said creates paintings, sounds, videos as well as writings. The work is very subjective and personal, yet at the same time has a strong purpose to construct a universal narrative starting from her own observations of the world around her.
