Biography

Šimon Chovan works with sculpture often expanding into installation. His works have a strong emphasis on materiality, they blur our understanding of what is natural or unnatural and force us to look closely. His work has been shown at Kunsthalle Wien, Exile (Vienna), Kunsteverein Eisenstadt, Greenfield project space (London), Staffordshire st (London), FKSE (Budapest), Holešovická Šachta (Prague), Kunsthalle Bratislava etc
