Underground enthusiast

A short documentary film, shot on mini-dv, that merges scenes in the New York subway with the confidences of my great aunt’s boyfriend, Jose, a third age Colombian immigrant. The film creates meta-narrative that recontextualizes recordings of real people and their interactions into a fictional monologue about public transportation, loneliness and migration.
