Radio Voorwaarts

Radio Voorwaarts originated as a short film chronicling the final party of an alternative community on the brink of eviction. Since the film, Radio Voorwaarts has evolved into a collective and platform for counterculture with a DIY and community-building mentality. A lot of our work relates to discourse around gentrification, urban renewal, and (the lack of space for) counterculture. We host events and cultural programmes relating to these issues but also look at ways to support activism in concrete and material terms.
