Custom Ceramic Tiles

I became obsessed with the idea of designing ceramic tiles. Finding no conventional technique that suited my requirements and expectations I decided to develop my own. The result is a custom build CNC machine. Allowing computer-controlled application of liquid glaze directly on ceramic tiles in biscuit state. The machine essentially functions as a digital printer. It allows for quick turnover of custom tiles in commissions of small to medium scale. The resulting tiles have a look that balances between the organic feel of hand made tiles mixed with mechanical precision.
