A Stream in a Pond in a Loop
"I put my head underwater. To my surprise my vision is perfectly clear. I see a myriad of little legs crawling over gleaming skin, caressed by a glowing fluid. Hundreds if not thousands of tiny critters. I wiggle my toes with the funny webs inbetween them. My hands, too, have webs and my arms and legs are glimmering green, covered in beautiful scales. I dive deeper into the pond without taking a last breath of air. I'm brushing through aquatic plants, fish, worms and I see a large salamander. It's getting darker with every stroke I take and harder to see. And then I can't see anymore at all. I hear nothing but the calm hum of the water. I procesd into the darkness until my hands touch the sandy ground. I know what to do now. As though I have done this before. I scan the ground with my fingers and find a asmall opening. I carefully try to widen it. I squueze my fingers through, then my right hand, the left hand, the hole is slowly giving in. I push my arm through and then my head and neck and shoulders. I have a good grip now on the other side and try to force my chest through as well, but I get stuck. I panick, I wiggle around, I try to move back when all of a sudden the hole is closing. It's closing around my chest. I can't breath. My eyes go black."
