Ritual Uno

In 2014, I received a package that comes from Palestine (place of origin of my family) to Chile. The box was 16 kilos and came with a file written in Hebrew. I move to Berlin for a year and the box stays in Chile unopened. Two years later, in 2016, I find it again and I do a ritual (performance, 2016), where the participants eat, drink wine and talk about the possibilities of the content of this package. At one point in the night, the opening of the box is generated. There were already many expectations about it. I tell the story of how it got here. Then I opened it, and began to remove the stones it contains. They are stones of my family's house in Palestine; house that is demolished in 2012 by Israeli military; Land that now belongs to the State of Israel.
