Biography

Sophia Simensky (Essex, England, 1990) is a visual artist and theatre maker based in the Netherlands and the UK. Since 2012, she has designed numerous productions for theatre and film, predominantly in the field of new writing. In her personal work, Sophia employs an archaeological approach to shifting landscapes, collapsing histories into non linear narratives that judder together in the present.
