Erica Moukarzel

Erica Moukarzel is pursuing a PhD at the Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis (University of Amsterdam). Her project draws on threads of narrative and oral memory to examine how food shapes sensory belonging and practices of place-making within the Mashriqi diaspora, particularly from Lebanon, Syria and Palestine. Alongside her research, she coordinates the Critical Studies program at the Sandberg Institute (Gerrit Rietveld Academie).
