THE BREWERY was a one-year project running in the assembly hall of Sandberg Instituut building at Overschiestraat 188 that grew out of a collaboration of Main Department Dirty Arts Department alumni (2015–2017) Thijs van de Loo and Chef / Kombucha brewer Nicolas Adam. THE BREWERY had multiple functions as a Kombucha brewery, kitchen, meeting space, pop-up exhibition, lecture programme, and was open to all students and host to different events.
