Dragon Kiln and Pokéreading

Together with Iida Jonsson and Ssi Saarinen (iida-ssi), Elisabeth built a kiln for the anarchist school Banana Mountain Project in Sierra Nevada, Spain. The project aimed at creating a framework that allowed for interaction and education over a longer period of time - while at the same time encouraging the students to make use of the natural clay and minerals contained in the surrounding soil. The oven, fitting small to medium sized ceramic pieces, was built using found materials from the area. During the inauguration ceremony, for which the students were invited, a Pokémon horoscope reading was arranged to get in touch with the kiln and its potential of putting imagined things into physical existence.
