Malo Vento

The performance Malo Vento (11' 40) is an attempt to move away from the physical and psychic constraints constituting illness -as intended in the Lucanian magical tradition. Because every pathological condition is conceived as a form of 'domination' and reduced to 'feeling bound', untying comes to equal healing. As the body becomes aware of the physical elements that are restricting it, the mind enters a trance-like state and can only be reintegrated when the knots are undone and the body is freed.
