In Let Me Cradle You individuals were invited to sit in front of the artist and choose a song about love, longing, loneliness, or happiness. They then put on the headphones and the artist sang the song which she designated to the emotion the they chose. While the headphones blocked most of the other sound in the room, this created a sense of intimacy between the artist and the listener that transcended the physical space in which the performance took place.
