I rather be alone than with you
"I rather be alone than with you" is inspired from my MA-thesis which confronts memory loss and how memory as subjectivity could also transform into fiction. This piece made four of the viewers/listeners into active speakers/performers and myself into the assistant. It imitates a family therapy session with a "non-physical-existing" Therapist that was only audible through a phone (which was hanging in the structure). I was interested in seeing how the props of the piece were remains of a possible scenario in time. The triangles were engraved with little words or phrases, and the chains out of copper were entangled.
